External Fixing Washers
Applications:
External fixing washers for use not only on precision-machine shafts but also on tubes, cast parts, plastic shafts and studs. Available for shaft sizes 0.8mm to 10mm diameter.
The washers are held in an assembly tool and simply pushed on to the shaft causing the prongs to grip the shaft tightly, locking the washers in place with initial tension. Once fixed in a position they are so secure that they cannot normally be removed without destruction.
Material:
Carbon spring steel, hardened and tempered.
Surface Finish:
Phosphate and oil.
